Alebrijes are imaginary creatures, made in Oaxaca out of copal wood.

Each alebrije is hand-carved and painted by hand in very beautiful and detailed patterns in vibrant colours. It requires a lot of skills and attention to detail from the artisan. Making one takes around 4 weeks. The result is a special and unique piece of Mexican Folk Art.

No matter what alebrije you choose, they will decorate very nicely and bring joy and colour to your room. Visitors will be impressed by all the details and the originality of every piece.
