The vibrant and colourful patterns are created by the indigenous women from communities from the southern Mexican state of Chiapas. They use weaving techniques passed on from generation to generation to reproduce traditional Mayan designs.

The woven textile is then passed to artisans specialising in leather crafts to create these extraordinary collars and leashes. With their craftsmanship, they support their families.
